For HM The King Poetry is not exempt from logic, nor is kingship from Law. The afternoon s determined by the Sun, no magic of words can colour in cartoons and call the price of death a truthful fantasy. No king rules in Brigadoon, yet the King being, makes a crucial difference. His people want a measure for office-holders, a rule mutually binding lboth the ruler and Treasury Ministers, so the latter turn over in media cycles, while the leisure to survive political persona is allowed just the King - he the hour in which they have minutes, the one sober man at their toxic moment of power.
