A significant provocative paper of the Analytical Theology School has been published by a Peterhouse Fellow, Ryan Haecker, on Charles Babbage's Ninth Bridgewater Treatise and on Ada Lovelace's digital programming. The Treatise is a Parmenidean theologising of the digital. Lovelace was Byron's daughter. Babbage too was a Fellow of Peterhouse. I too, am a Petrean. Both the article Sacramental Engines- The Trinitarian Ontology of Charles Babbage’s Analytical Engine and the Treatise may be read as Borgesian essays or short stories for their technique. Science Fiction is often Theological Fiction.
